Stamps from Faraway Lands

This is a tri-fold postcard advertising Philatelic Information Services. It has a copyright date of 1987. The images above show what both sides look like when the card is folded. The images below show what they look like when the card is open.

This is a post for Sunday Stamps at Viridian's Postcard Blog

  1. It would be quite a challenge to get all the stamps shown on this card. I only recognise one - from Sweden.

  2. that's so cool to have chosen such a postcard for today! you definitely cover it all...faraway, exotic, these stamps! The Yugoslavia ones gave an extra heartbeat :)

  3. Mystery and excitement, what better incentive to collect stamps. Of course the companies location of Cheyenne, Wyoming is rather exotic too from this side of the pond.

  4. That sounds like a very good deal! And so much has changed in those years since 1987 - no more USSR, Yugoslavia, French francs.

  5. What a perfect postcard for today's theme! It's as if I somehow knew of this in your collection. Wow. thanks for participating this week.

  6. I was all excited about this collection... until I realized that the information doesn't really say you'll get the stamps, just how to get them? anyway, it's a cool card to have with an interesting array of exotic lands!

    1. It seems to be much too late anyway. This was ©1987 and I couldn't find any current information on this service on the web.
