This postcard shows four series of four World Wildlife Fund (WWF) stamps from Belarus:
- 1995 Beavers
- 2000 European Lynx
- 2005 Black Storks
- 2010 Dragonflies
The stork stamps in the lower right corner are an interesting se-tenant pair. The top stamp in the pair shows the adult stork's body, while the bottom stamp shows the adult stork's legs and the nestlings.
I like the division of the se-tennant stamp and to see a stork in flight at the top. A nice variety of fauna.
ReplyDeleteFine postcard and the se-tenant stamp is brilliant.
ReplyDeleteI noticed the Lynx stamps myself. thank you for participating this week.
ReplyDeleteAnd how well the se-tenant stamp is connected to the stamps on the postcard above: the flying black stork on top!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, thank you fopr sharing!
belarus is kicking...uhm, high with the fauna stamps!
ReplyDeleteI've often seen people requesting Belarus fauna postcards but no mention of the wonderful stamps.
