Wild Berries Stamps
This postcard shows the Wild Berries stamps issued by Sweden in a booklet on September 8, 1977. The motifs show blackberries, cowberries, cloudberries, bilberries, and strawberries.
Those are beautiful. I love fruit, especially strawberries, bilberries (Blåbär in Swedish, I learned thanks to Wikipedia) and blackberries which all are shown here! Thank you for sharing!
I always liked the clear stamps, with white background.
ReplyDeleteI've gone with berries from Sweden too, they make such a nice stamp subject.
ReplyDeleteGreat series of stamps; I shall have to check my Swedish stamps when I get home.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect pick for today's theme. Thank you for participating.
ReplyDeletethis just proves there are more varieties of berries out there than we realize!
