This Christmas carols postcard was published by Whitney, probably in the 1920s. The Christmas salt and pepper shakers are probably from the 1950s or 1960s.

The caroling shakers have a silver palette-shaped Napco label with "a Napco Ceramic Japan." The pair of Mr. and Mrs. Santa shakers on the left just have a Japan label. The pair of Mr. and Mrs. Santa shakers on the right are marked "Lefton 1957."

That postcard is really wonderful! And I've decided to start collecting old Christmas s&p shakers, because the big figurines are so expensive this year! I love your collection, especially the carolers!
Merry Christmas and Happy VTT!
Carol
The carolers are so sweet. It's all about the innocent eyes and chubby cheeks!
Amazing shakers! I might just start colecting them! :)
Your postcard is wonderful and your shakers are just gorgeous. My favorites is the bottom right set. How sweet they look. Thank you for showing and sharing them with us. Happy VTT..have a lovely weekend.
I always enjoy seeing what postcard you will show. Christmas postcards are one of my favorites.
The S & P shakers are really cute. I've found some single shakers at the thrift stores recently. I bought them even though they weren't in a pair...they still have that vintage look I love.

Love the shakers. I have a piece similar that is not a shaker. Looks like the same kids though. The postcard is great!
Beautiful! I LOVE the shakers, I wish I had those for my Christmas table. :-)

The graphics and colors of the postcard is so pretty. We just don't see that detail anymore. I think those vintage salt and pepper shakers are a treaure. So much detail in those. Thank you!!
Adorable shakers!
Great 20s Christmas poster! (I'm showing a 20s Hanukah illustration today :)
Sooooo sweet! You have the most amazing collections. Sometimes at estate sales I glance at the cards and than put them down because I think...no, not one more thing! I cant get into one more thing! lol
You have the greatest collection of post cards. The shakers are so very special too.
Cheers,
Jo
I truly enjoyed seeing all your neat vintage thingies for today. Great keepsakes.
