Brady Motorfrate is no longer in business. The following is some information I pieced together from a couple of internet sites. Brady Motorfrate was acquired by Smith's Transfer Corp. of Staunton, Virginia. In 1987 Smith's was purchased by American Freight System which ceased operations in 1988.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if trucking lines do that sort of thing today ~ send out cards when customers' shipment arrives? Probably not. Probably just an email!
ReplyDeleteI like that as a way to notify customers. It wouldn't work these days, or at least not where I live. Walking would be faster than the postal service.
