The cat postcard above is one of the cards I used in a video I made today and posted on YouTube: Vintage Christmas Postcards - Greetings From My Cat. This is the second video I made using Windows Movie Maker (the first was yesterday). My video shows postcards from my collection and is embedded below.
The ceramic cat below is about 3 inches tall and is made in Japan. I bought it a couple of months ago at a Salvation Army store for 49¢.

An inventive way to show your collection of cute cat cards. A festival of furry fun.
ReplyDeleteYou've clearly become an expert at video making in a very short space of time. Interesting that cats were so popular in a Christmas theme. Not so much nowadays.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!And to answer your question, with Firefox I have the same issue as you with the Pieces of the Past blog. I did some testing, and I can see it normally with IE. You might want to let her know (as I have) so that she might try fiddling with a couple of settings.
ReplyDeleteWonderful video of your fabulous Christmas cats! Happy Holidays and PFF!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice way to splend a couple of minutes looking at the wonderful old postcards featuring the adorable kitties. I wish you a Merry Christmas, too! Carol
ReplyDeleteOh, boy! Christmas kitties! Just purrfect!
ReplyDeleteYou have a gorgeous collection. I bet most of your cards have a wonderful texture and embossing. On your previous post you have a card that I wonder if it is made of a very thick non-pliable material. I have one (shown in my banner & on a previous post) published by M.T.Sheahan. I can't find it on-line. I wondered if you knew any of the history of these unique cards. Christmas Blessings, Lisa
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful vintage post card with a darling cat. thanks for sharing.
