    What a lovely postcard! So sweet. Sometimes I wish I lived back then, but when I do research, I'm so glad I live in today's world where I actually have a say, and can own my own property!

    I took a look at that egg--you're right, it doesn't look like a chicken egg--it actually looks like a pink dino egg! lol Except I did see eggs shaped like this from first time laying hens. They came in all shapes and sizes--some looked just like this one! lol
